A man driving home one night saw ahead of him something in the bush on the side of the road. As he approached, a 7’ Yowie stepped infront of his car to cross the road. The man braked heavily almost hitting the Yowie.
The front of the car stopped right at the feet of the creature forcing it to put its hands on the bonnet.
The creature looked at the man through the windshield for a few seconds then pushed itself from the car and calmly walked off into the bush on the other side of the road.
The man was extremely shaken from what he’d just saw. He drove a little further up the road and put the car into ditch. The Police arrived and breathalized the man then asked for a statement. The man replied – A cow walked out infront of me.
Other Notes – This is a typical fear of ridicule that made this man state what he did to the Police. We find this kind of thing often in our work. Out of all the reported sightings, there would be many more thousands unreported due to this fear of public ridicule.
