Neither William or myself, owing to the scrub, etc., got a sight of it. Joseph says it was like a blackfellow with a blanket on him.

There were a good many blacks at the killing of it, and he saw two blackfellows dragging it down the hill by its legs.

It was like a black man, but covered all over with grey hair.
