Chris Munch pointed out to me that some of you might be having problems with my "Click Here" links, and he asked me to provide the complete link at the bottom of the newsletter for the "cut and paste" process. They will be included from now on. Thanks Chris.
Incidentally, please feel free to forward this newsletter to your friends and neighbors, and ask them to email me if they wish to be on our list for future issues. Previous issues will be provided if requested.
And just a note... I like to share material that comes my way. Nevertheless, if you wish to provide information and don't want it shared, that's fine. Just ask that I not share it.
Did you Know , Nice to Know, or Need to Know
that there was a fairly recent sasquatch sighting on the Chehalis flats. He goes on to states " We were out about on the flats three weeks after it happened and found some evidence of possible sasquatch tracks where the creatures were possibly digging for freshwater clams. This all took place near an area where possible vocalizations have been heard and recorded by residents. I have one witness who saw what he believes was a huge, dark colored sasquatch moving rapidly across the flats in a northeasterly direction, as well as two witnesses who saw possible fresh sasquatch footprints in the mud. I also have a tape of about eight minutes of possible sasquatch vocalizations recorded by residents." Ken has kindly given me a full report which I have provided, Click Here, and here is a link to listen to the sounds Click Here. I recently added a story about Chehalis, please have a look at it. Click Here. I believe Chehalis is a very lucrative area for sasquatch activity.
Ken Kristian tells me
Matt Crowley directed me to this write-up on Slavomir Rawicz and his "long walk." As with any event that has nothing to substantiate it other than someone's word and ink on paper, dispute is inevitable. All sasquatch reports are basically in the same category. Click Here
Igor Bourtsev informs, "Now I work for The Wonders & Adventures magazine (in Russian), arranging a web-site for it. They have published in the last issues three of my articles on our subject, and will continue to publish other ones including Bayanov's manimal. Attached is the cover with a montage of Jan's photo with Fox's sketch by Lydia Bourtseva." Click Here.

Further to MK Davis' finding of creature footprints in the Patterson/Gimlin film frames, Jeff Glickman emailed me and stated: "I can confirm that the film records the subject in the film making the impressions in the ground." My thoughts here are that footprints observed are at least 80 feet from the camera (most 102 feet). Would footprints of a man say 6 feet tall and 250 pounds leave footprints that would be visible in a 16mm movie film at this distance? Keep in mind that the larger one's foot (i.e., artificial foot) the more weight that is needed to make an impression. The image shown here of what appears to be a footprint was discovered by MK Davis. The camera is about 80 feet away. Click Here
"Scotto" posted a newspaper article to the Bigfoot Form concerning the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia incident. Please give it a read, and then come back Click Here. As you can see, there were no takers to try and find the creature. So, what do I think is going on here? First off, as I have mentioned, I don't think the creature has anything to do with bigfoot. It is possibly related to the Francis de Loys creature, or that seen in China, of which its hands and feet were cut off and preserved. The hands are shown here Click Here. However, as the press chose to call the Malaysia creature a bigfoot, then the stigma associated with bigfoot carries over. if any self-respecting scientist with two nickels to rub together took up the cause, he would immediately be branded as a bit of a mental case. Had the creature been "billed" as something else, things might have been different. Anyway, I now see claims of a whole colony of "bigfoot" in Malaysia - shades of the Tasaday fiasco.
Don Keating informs that he is hosting Ohio's 18th Annual Bigfoot Conference / EXPO, which will be held on April 29, 2006. If you are out that way, or can get to that neck of the woods, here is a great opportunity to hear first hand about events in the Buckeye State. For more information Click Here
Randy Stradley directed my attention to an article on hair growth. This is interesting. Click Here After you have read it, be thankful that body hair is not like head/face hair. Can you imagine what we would look like with 2 or 3 feet of hair all over? Sasquatch do not appear to have hair that long, so they evidently have a "body hair clock" that limits growth to an inch or so - except in some areas - there are reports of long flowing hair on their forearms.
Craig Woolheater has informed that the Texas Bigfoot Exhibit will run from April 7 to July 30 at the Institute of Texan Cultures, San Antonio. There will also be a lecture series during this time. Here is a link to the Institute of Texan Cultures site, go to Events Calendar: Click Here
Lloyd Pye brought this site to my attention. In my opinion, it explains how sasquatch (or sasquatch-like creatures) found their way to any part of the world (including Australia) - they simply walked there. Try and find the time to watch all of the clips, they are extremely interesting. Click Here Keep in mind that the fellow who came up with this material did not even go to college. He is blowing scientific minds on something scientists should have sorted out 100 years ago (I'm being kind). And I will venture to say that EVERY ONE of us thought about what he says when we were kids (I know I did). I am led to believe that most scientists are in a big box labeled "CURRENT ACCEPTED KNOWLEDGE," and beyond that box are millions of signs saying, "NO TRESPASSING."
The question of the availability of details in photographs continues to be debated. The question is, what is the smallest object one can see, or a camera record, that can be positively identified at distances in the range of 50 to 100 feet or so. Well, there are a whole pile of things involved here with regard to cameras, so I am just going to talk about my 65 year old eyes. If I were to ask the question, could anyone see a single human hair at 40 feet, the answer would be, "of course not, it is far too thin." Nevertheless, if something that thin or thinner reflects light, it can bee seen at 40 feet or even beyond. Some years ago, I looked out from my balcony and saw countless spider webs in a tree about 40 feet away. As the wind moved the branches, the webs appeared and disappeared. They appeared, of course, only when they caught the sun. What I could see was not really the webs themselves, but the light they reflected. Here is a shot I took the other day of the balcony and the trees so you can see the situation Click Here The point here is that one can effectively see very thin/small objects at great distances if they reflect light, or are the source of light.
