Location: On Highway 96 just between Aiken and Bluff creeks
Description of event: Me and my dad were on a camping trip and had left San Francisco that morning, so we were in the car all day and needed to stretch our legs. We took a walk on the highway with our camera and filmed a little. The battery was dying so we turned it off. Just then we smelled something foul, but distant, up in the canyon, and remembered why the Sasquatch is called 'skunk ape', so we turned back. Just then we heard a barking/yelping from just up the moutain that sounded nothing like a dog. We whipped out the camera to see if we could record it, but the noise stopped before we could turn it on.
