There were three of us out spotlighting for Deer. We weren’t driving any faster than about 10km/hr, very slowly with the spotlight out of the window. We had driven out of a block of pine trees and into more native bush, and this thing moving along caught my eye on the driver’s side.
On closer inspection it looked like a cross between a great big hairy man and a Gorilla walking parallel with the car and at the same speed – maybe a bit quicker. The trees were very sparse and there was no undergrowth whatsoever. It was very open.
It was very dark, either dark brown or black and was covered in hair from top to bottom. Egg shaped head, literally egg shaped and pointy on the top, about one and a half times the size of a Human head. It looked like it didn’t have a neck, just a head on the shoulders that were very wide. I would say 7 to 8 feet tall. Taller than the tallest man I’ve ever seen. Very solid all over. The arms were longer than normal, almost down past the knees.
It was walking like a soldier swinging its arms walking parallel to the car in the trees. I sh*t myself and just got out of there.
