I have never seen anything like this before.
We were driving from Singleton along Putty Road when we saw this thing on the side of the road. I turned to my daughter and said ‘did you see what I just saw’? She said yes.
It was on the right hand side of the road and looked like it was about to cross the road to go down to the river.
It was covered in hair and its arms were moving, but it was just standing there. I could see its chest and arms, and even its fingernails – they were long. I have never seen anything like it in my life. It had a matted brown chocolate type hair and it was quite long. It was facing onto the road. I think it would have been 6ft tall or more. It towered over our car. He was solid and hairy. He took up all my drivers side window. It was only about an arm’s length or two away from the car, so could see its hands and fingernails from there. They were brown or darn. His hands were chocolatey like a monkeys.
It was hairy and tall. We were only doing about 80kmph. He was going to cross the road, I’d say.
I come from the bush and I’ve never seen anything like it.
I drove on and then pulled up near and Church and phone booth at the Colo River and my heart was racing.
