It was nearly three metres tall, standing upright, with very thick black fur. It was like it was watching myself and my daughter but I didn't see it until it ran into the bush.
It was the noise that made me aware there was something there. If it didn't move I wouldn't have even known. It was just over 5 meters away. There was also a disgusting smell but not too overpowering. I think I was standing up wind from it.
