It was late at night, and I was driving to Brisbane and it was on the side of the road.
It was a fleeting moment like when you pass a kangaroo and get that sudden fright that he might jump out In front of you.
This thing was on all fours and in mid walk. It was massive hairy, black but with a sheen like a Panther or a sweaty horse. The thing that was really strange was its hunched stance like a sloth and a head like cross between a cat, an ape and a Nigerian man.
For years I've always wondered what the hell it was and have told people but often no one cares.
I’ve recently been researching yowies and came across this sight. I thought I'd share this.
As I said it was fleeting, but I saw it clearly as I passed it and wasn't confident enough to stop and turn around on that dark narrow road.
