In January 2016 I worked as a fruit picker in Gatton QLD. At the 10th of January I waited for my pickup to work in front of our flat, overlooking the street, facing the woods on the opposite side of the street. I must have been 4.30 - 5.00 am, the weather was dry and clear and the sun was just coming up.
Suddenly I saw this grey, blurred silhouette in front of a row of trees, about 50 meters away from me. It was approximately 2.50 - 3 meters tall, had a bulky body and long, golem-like arms. I only saw it for 3 seconds as it was slowly and silent walking into a gap between the trees. There it blurred and disappeared. It seemed to me as if I could slightly see through his body so it was more a phantom than a being of flesh and blood.
Since there was no fog nor smoke in the air that morning and its movements were distinctively human-like, I have no other explanation than having seen Yowie ghost that morning.
