Hey Dean, I want to inform you of a Yowie sighting i had a while back.
Around November, last year, my family and one of my friends drove down to Aberfeldy, down near Moe and past the Thompson River Dam.
We were staying around a couple of cabins down near a residence of the "Codes".
My parents stayed in one hut, we stayed in another.
My friend and I decided one night to go looking around in the mines down there, it was really dark, so we had torches. My friend thought it would be funny to dart
out in front of me and attempt to scare the living daylights out of me.
I continued down to the creek, which was our destination. I was walking down the path when a hand grabbed me, I exclaimed, "Oh, very funny” and turned towards
him.
He was staring at me, motioning me to be quiet as he pointed to a clearing down near the creek. What I saw I still don't really believe, a man, tall and covered with short hairs was drinking from the water.
It gave some weird snorting noises, like that of a pig or hog.
I swear everything was drowned out by the sound of my heartbeat, we were frozen in fear.
We sat in those bushes for a long time, until a 4WD came past us with its high-beams on, it must have scared the creature off.
When we got back to the cabin we barricaded the door with our belongings, and sat down in the dark room in fear for the rest of the night.
