I didn’t encounter a yowie it was something else.
We were travelling south from Lancelin W.A. at about 8 am. The weather was clear.
We were doing about 90kph on the road, and this "creature" was running in the scrub about 20m from the road, and parallel with the road.
It caught up to the car and then ran faster than the car and then off into the scrub.
There were three people in the car and two of us saw it.
Description:
It looked much like a large kangaroo crossed with a large emu.
It had the body of an emu, the tail of a kangaroo, and the legs were muscular like a Kangaroo, but it was running and not hopping.
It had a tail that was really thick.
No idea what it was.
